G-SideIt's been more than 9 years, five albums, a lot of soul-searching and some hard times since David Jackson (aka Jack, aka Jiggy Jack, aka Penetentiary...) left Detroit's G-SIDE (God's Side), the storied hip-hop duo, (featuring Jiggy Jack on the verbal slaughter and Mr. Ran working the beats) that Too $hort took under his dirty wing back in the '90s. But this is 2009 and Jack has come full circle back to G-SIDE actually THE ALMIGHTY G-SIDE and in the process found the game has changed. G-SIDE began battling Detroit emcees more than 20 years ago and he will continue the battle as long as he must. His raps bear a hardened edge that gives lie to the soft-spoken man who has lived one of the most interesting lives in hip-hop.
